I’ve been married to my amazing, supportive husband Chris since 1998. Together, we’ve built a life filled with love, laughter, and a whole lot of photos. In 2000, we welcomed our daughter Autumn—she’s smart, creative, and recently graduated from Meredith College (Class of 2023) with a degree in Interior Design and a minor in Graphic Design. She’s now pursuing a career in the commercial design industry. Our son Conner was born in 2004 and is our sports-loving, driven guy. He’s currently studying Sports Management at NC State University.


Our home is also full of furry friends! We have four cats—Toothless, Flash, Belle, and Daisy—and one very spoiled Morkie named Cooper, who even has his own Instagram page.

My journey into photography started because of my daughter, Autumn. She was a dancer from the age of 5 all the way through 18, and like any proud mom, I wanted to capture every moment. But stage photography isn’t easy—especially when you can’t use a flash. I had to learn how to shoot in low light, and that challenge sparked something in me. What began as a way to freeze memories of her performances slowly grew into a passion for capturing meaningful, beautiful moments for others. And that’s what brought me to where I am today.
